Now you can eat meats and cheeses off your favorite runway with this customized walnut serving board. Featuring customized, made-to-order runway-specific markings made with a CNC router, this charcuterie board makes for a unique gift for any pilot or aviation enthusiast.
Serving board is made of solid walnut with inlaid epoxy for markings, and includes a keyhole mount on the back so that the board can be hung on a wall and displayed when not in use, as pictured.
STANDARD-sized board measures approximately 24" by 6" by 1" thick. EXTRA-LARGE board measures approximately 32" by 8" by 1" thick.
When ordering, please indicate the name of the airport along with the number of the runway that you would like to appear on the serving board. Please review additional ordering notes below for more information on this custom design process.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
This board is finished with a food-safe blend of mineral oil and beeswax. If necessary it can be lightly hand-washed and should be dried immediately after. The finish can be maintained over time with any of the many available cutting board oil blends/conditioners.
ORDERING NOTES:
I will review the supplied airport and runway information, study the appropriate markings based on runway images, and send a mockup of the proposed design to you for review within 3 days. You will then have 3 days to review the mockup and confirm that the design is correct. If no confirmation is received after 3 days, I will make the board based on the original design sent to you. One revision/redesign may be allowed during this time period, and can be discussed further as needed. In total, the time from ordering to shipment may take 7 to 10 calendar days.
OPTIONAL PERSONALIZATION NOTES:
A custom inscription on the back of the board can be added for an additional $35 ($45 for extra large boards). Messages limited to 100-characters in length. Inscription will appear in the middle of back of the board. You will receive a mockup of this inscription along with the mockup of the runway described above for approval before I start the order.
